Caron Jooste
BSc. PGDip, MISCP
Caron is a Chartered Physiotherapist specializing in pain neurophysiology and the rehabilitation of complex pain conditions, including musculoskeletal and postoperative orthopedic issues. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town (2017) and a postgraduate Diploma in Interdisciplinary Pain Management (2019). With experience at the Pain Research Unit at Groote Schuur Hospital and as a team leader in a private practice, Caron is passionate about evidence-based, patient-centered care and leading multidisciplinary teams to improve pain management outcomes.
In addition to her expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Caron has developed a particular interest in managing autoinflammatory conditions, including long COVID and autoimmune disorders. Since relocating to Ireland in early 2024, she has joined the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists and continues her commitment to advancing pain management, helping individuals with persistent pain lead fuller, healthier lives.
The Rest Of The Team
The Medfit multi-disciplinary approach consists of specialist physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, and client support staff who all work together with the common objective of helping clients to optimise their recovery from illness, injury or surgery.
