Emma McLean
BSc. BACPR
Emma graduated from Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) with a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours) and is a certified Cardiac Exercise Instructor through the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR).
Previously, Emma worked as a Clinical Lead Instructor at ExWell Medical for almost two years, delivering community-based group strength and conditioning classes for people living with a variety of chronic conditions. Through this experience, she developed a strong interest in the role exercise plays in managing long-term health conditions, improving physical function and supporting overall wellbeing.
Emma enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities, with particular interests in older adult exercise and pre- and post-operative rehabilitation. She is passionate about how regular aerobic, strength and balance training can improve mobility, build strength and confidence, and help individuals maintain their independence and quality of life.
Emma takes a client-centred approach to exercise, recognising that everyone has different needs, abilities and goals. She believes in the importance of creating tailored, safe and evidence-based exercise programmes that support individuals in achieving meaningful improvements in their everyday lives.
